Goldfield's new outdoor classroom/dining area is complete and the grand opening is only a week away!!!!!
It started as any other vision project does but over the last few weeks we have worked together with all the staff at at Goldfield's and created a truly great outdoor area for all to use and enjoy!
We have gone from snow to rain to glorious sun shine and with an ever changing plan and design we have now completed a wonderful project that has transformed a once run down and unuseable area in to a fantastic all year round multifunctional building, with a lot of hard work and and a fantastic team of staff, both within Vision and the school, the project is now complete and the grand opening is nearly here!
We are looking forward to attending the event on april 1'st after school and would like to thank Debbie Stevens for being such a wonderful head teacher, also Caroline for keeping us watered with fantastic cups of tea! and all the f,r,o,g,s (friends of Goldfield's school). Oh and Andy, just for being Andy!
Caroline has also followed the project very closely right from the start and is compiling a portfolio which we will be linking to very soon so watch this space!

The Project Portfolio will be added to our website once Martyn has cut the ribbon to open our outdoor classroom.

Vision have provided us with exceptional facilities that will allow us to plan exciting environmental and eco projects, along with opportunities for outdoor dining and a greater range of activities during playtimes. The highest standard of craftmanship along with enthusiasm and imagination culminated in the most amazing environmental area that we cannot wait to move into!
Everyone at Goldfield would like to thank Martyn for his 'vision' and total commitment to our project. It has been a pleasure to have them on site - Martyn and Dave became valued members of the 'Goldfield Gang'!
